SPHERICAL to Power Blackswan Space’s RPO for Europe's Autonomy In-orbit Servicing

As the space economy scales toward active debris removal and in-orbit refuelling, autonomy is mission-critical. We are thrilled to announce that SPHERICAL will be delivering our advanced power systems to Blackswan Space to support their autonomous navigation systems for the future of in-orbit servicing, including Europe’s upcoming ASTRAL mission.
Blackswan’s Rendezvous and Proximity Operations (RPO) Kit is a subsystem that enables precise docking between spacecrafts in orbit. However, running computationally heavy, high-performance autonomy software in space requires an incredibly reliable, high-efficiency electrical backbone.
